Oh! The cursed Peri (and I know we're not chatting about Portuguese chicken here).
I've been battling with it for a few years now (no, I can't take HRT because I'm lumpy) (and no, none of the other stuff works) (unfortunately) and get randomly disturbed from my blissful slumber by a) the sudden, urgent need to pee, b) the fact that I'm about to spontaneously combust, or c) nothing.
I get everything else as well and have come to the conclusion that my body has read the book on menopause symptoms and is going through the checklist.
Night sweats? Check.
Fluff brain? Check.
No memory of parked car? Check.
Burning tongue? Check.
And on it goes.
Fridges! Urgh! They shrink in the summer. Nothing fits, it's like chilled Tetris.
School's been out for a few years in our house, replaced by uni degrees. But my youngest finishes his degree next week (EEK!) before diving into a fabulous internship that he's busting to get on with.
Kids are great. If only they weren't a constant reminder of how much older we're getting!
I like your life roundups R. I like your look today too. (Shorts and sandals? I wish! Not warm enough here yet.) Your new sandals look great.
Thx for more book recs. Enjoying Zoe.
Hope you and your nails enjoy Halloween with the kids.
Hope Blake gets to go on camp!
I’m getting used to the idea of my girl not being home for her birthday for the first time. And thinking our Xmas will probably be low key which will be fine.
School’s out forever at our place, as of this arvo! End of an era, start of some new chapters.
Schools done forever! Wow. What a feeling. I’ve still got the whole of high school for the little ones (😩😩😩😩). We did not do family planning very well 😂

I’m the same with Peri it’s awful I feel like a raging monster you are not alone 💕
Peri is sucking the fun out of life! I hope it’s over sooner rather than later!
