Wow. What holiday, huh?! A distant memory now probably! I hope you’re out of hospital by now (I’m late to the party here and I blame Substack!) and home sweet home? Good luck to Blake, sending healing vibes to him. Thank goodness for Sadie, bringing the laughs eh. Take it easy mumma…hope life can return to normal now xx
Oh Reannon, this year can get in the bin. My goodness you have been through the wringer. Hugs, big love and some time quiet time for you.
Also can't help but laugh at the clothing situation, bless her.
I have just learnt that my protein levels are low, which could mean many bad things, I am trying to up my protein intake in the hope that it will turn things around...it's hard. My bestie is following the carnavore diet, I have no idea how she does it, and don't want to be that extreme, but she says she feels better than she has in years.
I’m gonna put it in the bin & then set the bin on fire!
What made me laugh about her packing was I did send a list through of what I needed but she must have just gone off vibes lol
And protein makes a MASSIVE difference but man, it’s a full time job getting it in. And for someone like me it just feels like I’m eating soooooo much meat so I use shakes & water too. Shout out if you want any recs!
Oh my goodness…my heart raced and my memory went back many years to “son’ and “motor bikes’ and being told over the phone, look he’s OK but we’re taking him to hospital closest to home so you can see him..,I think he was around 24. I saw him…on CT bed waiting for whatever was found. Concussion, abrasions and a very nasty knee injury requiring surgery but ‘Alive’ …I understand how it all unfolds and then some. Take care, it’s such a big stress and worry. Hope your son recovers well…and you too of course!

I hope it can too but normal for us seems to be chaotic so I’d like someone else version of norma please lol
I hear you…what normal? There is no normal right?!
I hope not!

It’s so scary isn’t it! We are home now, no theirs surgery needed thank god, but keeping a very active 11 year old “resting” is not going to be easy!
