Hello R, same same same. I can relate to doing all the research but YET to put all the things into practice. I like to collect ideas. And buy notebooks for them.

The girls have been home and it’s been SO wet but we got to the bottom of the laundry piles yesterday with a day to spare. Phew.

Many roast chickens have been cooked. And soups and sourdoughs.

Lighting the fire daily here.

Too many books to be read here but! the library is closing for refurbishment for a month so due dates extended. A small win!

Have you seen F1 yet? We both enjoyed it xx

I watched it live, staying up to midnight to watch it all. Totally gutted for Oscar, he did not deserve 10seconds.

I’ve pulled my starter out the fridge to see if I can get her bubbly by the weekend. What recipe are you using for your bread?

Oh, I meant the Brad Pitt version!

I did a course run by Nicola Galloway and she supplied the starter. She’s published cookbooks and is on Substack. Email me if you can’t find her x

Do people borrow one book?????? Imagine being that disciplined!

When I have 4 or 5 coming in at once on Libby I get so stressed and frantically try and remember why I put them on hold and what order to go.

I can’t say I’ve ever seen a person leave with one book. Thank god with Libby you can shedule them to come in later without losing your spot in the cue. I have to do that often!

Haha same - I’m signed up to too many libraries on it. Need to moderate myself.

i'm still waiting for the wet winter to kick in, so want a day to stay inside with no guilt, if it ever happens i'll be complaining after a day. can't please me

maybe it's the season, stage of life, state of the world, but honestly i cant be f*(^ doing anything kind of like what is the actual point, not in a depressed way just in a are we really going to worry about that thing when everything outside my control feels like it's falling apart anyway

I’m being a bit selfish & ignoring most of the news. I take a quick glance at the headlines most days & think “nope. Not today”

We are supposed to have a wet Saturday & I can’t wait!!!
