Wow that’s a lot of books. I didn’t read much in May. I’m currently listening to This Book Made me Think of You & really enjoying it. I’m also reading Rachael Johns latest book The Lucky Sisters & on BorrowBox I’m reading Start at the End by Emma Grey.

I also like to read books that are all tied up with a bow at the end. I hate investing my time reading a book & then left wondering what the hell happened.

I love my BorrowBox & Libby apps, I have saved myself so much money as I used to just go out & buy all the books.

I think the Luck Sisters is proabbly Rachels best book to date, I really enjoyed that one.

I have authors who I collect their books so will always buy their books, whether new or second hand. And the rest I borrow or grab at the op-shop. I could never afford to buy all the books I want to read!

Ooh now I’m extra looking forward to the new Stroud and Yesteryear, I have holds on both of them but need to be very patient. I really enjoyed This book made me think of you, thanks for sharing it. I liked Strangers more than I expected to. Enjoyed Olive by Emma Gannon, and absolutely loved Between Two Kingdoms. Currently reading Atomic Habits, next is Jacinda’s memoir, and then Go Gentle by Maria Semple which I’m very excited about!

oooo I keep hearing about Strangers & wondering if I should read it?

I love that you have an actual TBR. I am such a mood reader so I can’t decide what I want to read until I’ve finished what I’m currently reading ( the Calamity Club by Kathryn Stockett, it’s great!)

Ooh I’ll have to try that one, thanks!

Did you see the Cup of Jo post about books people beg their friends to read?

My TBR is my library books, library holds list (so many!) and a few books I’ve bought (I’m the same as you, I try to support my favourite writers…A brain that breathes by Jodi Wilson is next on my pile) and others I’ve been gifted by my siblings.

My current technique for reading more is being hurried along by another borrower who’s next in the queue (just got an alert that I have a week to finish Jacinda!). This is the motivation I need!

I haven’t looked at Cup of Jo for ages so thanks for the reminder!

I started Jodi’s book but wasn’t for me. Maybe not the right time & I’ll come back to it another day.

I get so flustered when all my library holds come in at once. I’ve currently got 3 with me now so I stared one yesterday, The Marriage Trap by Victoria Purman, but not sure if I’ll finish the other before they are due back!

Glad I’m not the only one who gets flustered! (And I haven’t read a page offline this weekend. What a monster.)
